"Owner Rebecca Guillette has been riding since she was 6, winning ribbons initially in English-style riding competitions, eventually switching to Western saddles and rodeos because, “it’s less stuffy, more fun, and more kid-friendly.”..."
About Open Acre Ranch
Rebecca and her children Wyatt, Donna & Brody want to welcome you and your family to their 400 acre horse farm in the beautiful green mountains of Vermont! We have many wonderful horses to suit all riding abilities, and these sweet animals are also members of our family. If you have a horse in your family, we invite you to bring it! The atmosphere at Open Acre Ranch is friendly and homey, yet very professional. Our hope is that you truly enjoy your horse and your ride!
Rebecca Guillette, owner and operator of Open Acre Ranch, has been riding since she was six years old. She is proud to have learned the English discipline from her mentor, Carol Selkowitz. Between the ages of 18 and 21, Rebecca trained in western riding and fell in love with it. Seeking to share her passion, she has for many years taught horse and rider all about western riding. She also builds confidence for riders that have been injured or have not ridden for many years.
